Feast On Authentic Peruvian And Bolivian Food Inside An Igloo At Los Andes In Rhode Island

While this year has certainly had its share of things we hope not to take with us into the next one, there are a few things we can agree should stay (like takeout cocktails, for example). We've been seeing an increase in igloo dining in recent years, and we couldn't be happier. The igloos at Los Andes are back for the season, so make your reservations and prepare to feast on incredible Peruvian and Bolivian cuisine.

Los Andes is located on Chalkstone Avenue in Providence, on a quiet corner.

This eclectic eatery was named after the mountain range that runs through South America.

This restaurant serves authentic Bolivian and Peruvian food. And if you're not familiar with that, we highly recommend you visit.

This is Pollo al Carbón, marinated and roasted Cornish hen with Andean spices, arroz a la jardinera, crispy Brussels sprouts, pancetta, chicha morada gastrique, and crema huancaina. Yum.

Los Andes is also well-known for its creative cocktails, especially the margaritas.

They're impossible to choose from, so you may want to have someone else do the driving.

The outdoor dining area is open all year, and in the fall and winter, it's covered and heated..

... but the private igloos are even better.

The igloos are open for dinner daily from 5 - 9 p.m., by reservation only.

The igloos are cozy and warm, the perfect pick for a date night or a celebration with a small group of friends.

Plus, the full menu is available, and it's absolutely delicious.

Los Andes' heated patio and cozy igloos will keep you warm until winter is over.

This year may have been a bit of a roller coaster, but at least we can end it on a high (and tasty) note.
