Bayberry Beer Hall Is A Rhode Island Beer Garden Inspired By Munich
Bayberry Beer Hall in Providence offers a modern American dining experience with European influences, perfect for families, friends, and date nights.
Providence's Bayberry Beer Hall is a fantastic place to hang out. And while it has a uniquely modern American flair, you'll definitely see hints of old European influence here. Let's just say this family-friendly, super-hip space combines the best of both worlds — and whether or not you're a beer drinker, you'll love it.
Bayberry Beer Hall is located on West Fountain Street in Providence in a humble old brick building.
It's a great gathering spot for groups of friends, families, and laid-back date nights.
The beer hall is owned by Tom and Natalie Dennen, who want guests to feel like they're dining with family when they're here.
The name of the place was inspired by Tom's grandfather, Morton, who lived in a cabin in coastal Maine surrounded by bayberry bushes.
The space itself, however, is inspired by Tom's trips to Munich, where he experienced a traditional German Biergarten for the first time.
Tom was so impressed with the seamless execution of the place that he returned home eager to embody that efficiency with his own place.
While the inspiration did come from Germany, this is not a German-themed bar — the space is very American.
However, you will see some classic German fare on the menu, as well as the traditional pretzel and beer pairing.
The food menu here is fantastic, featuring everything from small snacks to handhelds and hearty entrees like steak and pasta.
They even have a children's menu for young diners.
The weekend brunch is incredibly popular, and for good reason.
The menu selection is quite varied, and the brunch drinks are creative.
Bayberry Beer Hall is open every day but Monday, and dinner is served daily.
They open at 4 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. on Saturdays, and 9 a.m. on Sundays.
Check out Bayberry Beer Hall the next time you're in Providence. If you're not a beer drinker, you just might become one here.
