As summer draws to a close, there's no better place to toast the end of the season than Portland's Island Cafe. Located along the Columbia River in McCuddy's Marina on Hayden Island, this tropical Hawaiian-themed restaurant will have you on island time in no time.

Check it out:

Floating amongst the sailboats and floating homes in the North Portland Harbor, this restaurant is the perfect place to sit back and relax while you watch the boats go by.

Island Cafe is located at 250 NE Tomahawk Island Dr., Portland, OR 97217. There is also dock parking available if you are traveling via boat.

To reach the restaurant from the parking lot, you'll walk down this ramp.

When you're here, the hustle and bustle of the city melts away. The laid-back atmosphere and tropical music will make you feel like you're on a Hawaiian vacation.

While the wait can be long, you can always grab a drink at the tiki bar while you wait for a table to open up.

Choose from a wide selection of tropical drinks, including frozen margaritas and piña coladas.

Soft drinks and virgin cocktails are also available.

The open air deck is decorated with thatched umbrellas and offers outstanding views of the surrounding harbor and a snow-capped Mt. Hood.

Guests have the option to dine either inside or outside.

FYI: Happy is Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

You'll find a large variety of delicious food to choose from on the menu, including burgers, salads, seafood, and wraps.

The fish tacos come with fresh mango salsa.

And don't forget dessert! We recommend the Salted Caramel Brownie Sundae.
