Indulge Your Sweet Tooth At This Sweet Candy Store On The Oregon Coast
Candy, specifically fruit-flavored gummy candies, has been my thing since I first tried Swedish Fish as a child. I'm part Swedish, so I've got to eat it, right? Even though I'm an adult, I still enjoy an occasional sweet treat.
Oregon is home to lots of great candy shops but I'm partial to one in particular: Manzanita Sweets. This shop is well-loved on the Oregon Coast by locals and visitors alike. What makes it so special? Manzanita Sweets feels like an old-fashioned sweet shop! I love its adorable decor and amazing selection of candies, especially the huge variety of Oregon-made treats.
This adorable beach town candy shop is sure to delight kids and adults alike.
Get ready to be transported to a time when the candy shop was a thing of wonder. I love all the glass jars filled with various candies.
The atmosphere is fun, whimsical, and delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
What could be better than a tower of taffy?
Chocolate lovers will be very happy here!
Yum! Some of these sweets are almost too adorable to eat.
I always get Swedish Fish and sour candy lips but love trying new delights as well.
For more information about this sweet candy shop, visit the Manzanita Sweets Facebook page. If your visit to the Oregon Coast includes a drive, you may want to stock up on car-friendly snacks and/or enjoy a meal at one of the fabulous restaurants in the area. I love Wanda's Cafe + Bakery in nearby Nehalem for delicious pastries, fabulous salads, yummy brunch fare, and more. Don't forget to take a stroll along the gorgeous local beaches as well.
We'd love to know how you enjoyed your stop at Manzanita Sweets, so please leave a comment to let us know about your experience and what kind of candy you love. Also, feel free to share your favorite candy shops in Oregon, too.
