The Delicious Aroma Outside Led Me To This Fabulous New Neapoloitan Pizzaria In Oregon
Follow your nose to discover out-of-this-world sourdough Neapolitan pizza at The Turning Peel in Southeast Portland.
What a find! This new pizza joint serves expertly made sourdough Neapolitan crust pizza at a hidden spot on Southeast Division. The pizza is fantastic and the family running it are delightful and have attended to every detail. All they need is a bigger sign. Luckily, I found it by smell!
Fabulous sourdough pizza awaits at this new restaurant on Southeast Division in Portland.
I tried pizza and salad. Everything was superb. I put the simple but fresh and tasty salad right on my slices.
There's ample indoor seating.
You can also sit on the backyard patio or in the tranquil "Oasis," an indoor-outdoor dining space.
The crust has an airy, chewy bite. Toppings include prosciutto, salami, mushrooms, and more.
The chef started making dough during the pandemic and hasn't stopped since!
From the sauce to the cheese, every bite is pure deliciousness.
Can't wait to go back for another pie.
Vegan pies are also available using house-made tofu and cashew-based ricotta cheese.
When there's leftover pizza dough, the owners turn it into fresh loaves of sourdough — free for the taking!
