Oregon's restaurants are in a league all their own. Form fine dining in the state's gorgeous wineries to chowing down at beloved local seafood shacks, the cuisine in Oregon is on another level entirely. This isn't just our opinion; Oregon has attracted the national spotlight, first with Bravo TV's Top Chef Portland, and now with Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." Guy Fieri visited Bend this year, and the episodes have begun airing on local networks. Fieri visited Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails, Rockin’ Dave’s Bistro & Backstage Lounge, and Dump City Dumplings -- and you'll definitely want to visit all three restaurants in Bend, Oregon, ASAP, too!
Lights, camera, action! Oregon was a veritable triple threat on Food Network this year, with a trio of restaurants in Bend featured on the popular "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" show.
First up: Zydeco Kitchen, a made-from-scratch kitchen in Bend dishing up crave-worthy, Cajun-influenced American fare.
The corn and artichoke fritters here are a fan favorite...
...as is the Cajun jambalaya, which Guy ordered -- and couldn't stop raving about!
Visit Zydeco Kitchen at 919 NW Bond St, Bend, OR, 97701, and be sure to follow the eatery on Facebook to stay up-to-date on the latest news and specials!
Rockin' Daves is another of the three spots featured, and the restaurant celebrated their small-screen debut with a watching party fit for Hollywood A-Listers.
This Bend spot is known for their killer bagels; in particular, the spicy jalapeño bagels.
Rockin' Dave's made Guy their jalapeño bagel and their home-smoked pastrami sandwich...
...suffice it to say, Fieri was a fan!
You'll find Rockin' Daves at 661 NE Greenwood Ave, Bend, OR, 97701. Be sure to follow them on Facebook to stay in-the-know about all things breakfast sandwiches!
Dump City Dumplings is an eatery tailor-made for "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."
Dump City Dumplings is known for their steamed bun dumplings, which come in a variety of unique dumpling-and-sauce combinations.
Guy couldn't get enough of these perfect little flavor pillows; and once you give them a try, you'll be converted, too! The wontons with vinegar and chili oil are particularly craveable.
Visit Dump City Dumplings at 384 SW Upper Terrace Dr., Bend, OR, 97703, and be sure to give them a follow on Facebook, too!
