You won't find IHOP or Waffle House on this list - we went where the locals go.  Here are 15 amazing breakfast spots in Oklahoma that will start your day with a smile. (Not in any particular order.)

1. Granny's Kitchen: Stillwater

Fantastic, homemade cinnamon rolls are just one of the yummy homemade breakfast foods at Granny's that'll keep you coming back. It's great home-cooked style food that tastes absolutely delicious!

2. Jenks Restaurant: Jenks

For the best omelette around, stop into Jenks Restaurant & Amazing Clocks and enjoy a morning filled with nostalgia, coffee and clocks.

3. Waffle Champion: Oklahoma City

A gourmet sandwich shop that happens to serve their sandwiches on the best waffles you've ever eaten. You will also want to try some of their house sweets: homemade lemon curd, fresh berries, graham cracker crumble, and perfect velvety whip cream on a classic buttermilk waffle.

4. Hugo's Family Restaurant: Claremore

For bacon and ham lovers, Hugo's is paradise. You'll love the generous portion sizes, so make sure you go hungry!

5. Country Kitchen Restaurant: Ponca City

Country Kitchen serves a good small town breakfast. We recommend the light, fluffy pancakes or delicious ham and cheese omelet. Enjoy delicious home cooking without the mess.

6. Sunny Side Up: Shawnee

For a great breakfast in Shawnee, stop into this breakfast joint and order the West Side breakfast-Hash browns with sausage, bell peppers and onions on top, layered with 2 eggs over it. Toast or biscuits and gravy on the side.

7. Polly Anna Cafe: Woodward

A small town diner serving the locals since 1928. A great cup of coffee and American breakfast will get your morning started off right.

8. Egg It On Cafe: Broken Arrow

Fresh ingredients, generous portions and a pleasant atmosphere are great reasons to visit Egg It On Cafe. The full menu is served all day, until closing at 2:00 pm. Please note: Closed on Mondays.

You will find all your classic breakfast items on the menu at The Hash. It is a newer spot to Edmond and the locals are loving the fresh, home cooked breakfast food.

11. Lulu's Coffee and Bagel: Lawton

Lulu's is a little wooden building that only offers drive-thru with a small outdoor seating area. They serve delicious bagel sandwiches and a tasty cup of coffee. When you're in a rush and need a good breakfast on the go, look for the moose out front of Lulu's.

12. Ozzie's Diner: Norman

Grab a window seat to enjoy the view of the airplanes. Ozzie's is located in the OU Max Westheimer Airport in Norman. You'll find great food at affordable prices and even all-you-can-eat options. Bring the laptop after class and enjoy Free WiFi.

13. Chimera: Tulsa

This quaint little cafe in downtown Tulsa (Brady District) offers the finest coffee, along with a great variety of breakfast options for diners. You can find vegan biscuits and gravy, breakfast, pastries and much more. Half of the menu is vegan/vegetarian friendly, and they can make many of the items gluten-free.

14. Creperie European Cafe: Midwest City

Crepes are one of the most delicious breakfast treats and Creperie knows how to make them. Try the strawberry and nutella (pictured above) for a sweet crepe or a ham and cheese crepe that will melt in your mouth.
