Fargo, North Dakota, is an amazing place to visit and/or live (why not both?), and one of the reasons I feel this way is thanks to its delightfully diverse array of unique places to eat. Truly, there's no shortage of awesome restaurants in North Dakota, especially Fargo, and the one I'm going to feature today is just as deserving as all the others, if not more - it's a true delight! Of all the unique restaurants in North Dakota, this one is special - it is, after all, one of the only nosh spots where you'll find a legitimate, wood-fired rotisserie as the centerpiece of the place, and my goodness, is it EVER somewhere to write home about.

Welcome to Doolittles Woodfire Grill - an amazing example of just how excellent Midwest cuisine can be.

This place is special, to say the least, offering up some amazingly fresh, delicious meals unlike any other you'll ever find in North Dakota - if not the entire Upper Midwest.

The decor is elegant and modern without being stuffy, which only complements the overall experience.

The biggest draw, though - at least to me - is the method of preparation the meat undergoes before reaching your plate: it's a genuine wood-burning rotisserie, which is AMAZING (especially if you've never experienced it before).

The result: to die for tender, juicy entrees that'll keep you coming back for more.

To say this is unique is to understate things a bit; you truly don't get to indulge in genuine wood-fired deliciousness like this all the time - unless, of course, you show up to eat here a few times a week, which I definitely wouldn't judge anyone for.

Chicken, salmon, ribs, steaks... the menu is diverse and fantastic, filled with deliciousness you'll crave time and time again.

The array of sides and the awesome dessert menu tie everything together, making for an awesome dining experience you won't forget. It makes for a great date night, celebration, or even a solo outing - this one's perfect for all occasions, big or small.

You'll want to arrive hungry, for sure - the appetizers are ALSO ridiculously perfect, so I'd plan on taking a to-go box home with you if I were you.

Come out to Fargo, and enjoy one of the best restaurants in North Dakota - it's worth a drive from wherever you might be in the state.

Because of this amazing experience and all the folks clamoring for it, I definitely strongly recommend reservations ahead of time.
