We love it all, from enchiladas and burritos to tostadas and cheese dip. It's shocking how much flavor can be packed into dishes made from a handful of ingredients! 1. Neno's Gourmet Mexican Street Food: 642 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14607
Neno's started as a food truck that specialized in gourmet Mexican street food. Street food is a huge part of Mexican culture, and Neno's celebrates it with its extensive menu of burritos, tacos, and tortas.
Neno's still operates their original food truck as well, so you may see it around at various Rochester events. You can get more information, including a menu, on their website. They're also very active on Facebook.
2. La Divina Tacos: 2896 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217
La Divina Tacos may not look like much: it's little more than a simple counter to order from. But they've got some of the best Mexican food in Buffalo. The small spot also carries some Mexican groceries.

3. Old Mexico: 357 Elmira Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850
Old Mexico boasts some amazing margaritas and their Taco Tuesday deals are a great bonus. They've got all the traditional Mexican dishes, and even offer seafood and soups.
You won't want to miss the cheap tacos on Taco Tuesday! There's a menu on their website and they post specials on their Facebook.
4. Mamasita Bar and Grill: 818 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019
The Big Apple is famous for being a cultural melting pot, so of course they have some great Mexican food. One of our favorite spots is Mamasita. This casual Hells Kitchen joint has tons of fresh food and a variety of margarita flavors.
Seriously, come here if you love margaritas! They have more than 25 flavors and even carry special flavors for holidays such as Pumpkin Spice and Piña Ghoulada. Check out their full menu on their website.
5. Oaxaquena Triqui: 77 N Lake Ave, Albany, NY 12206
Oaxaquena Triqui is one of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants in New York. This small shop sells some of the best Mexican food in Albany, and it's as authentic as can be.

6. La Cocina: 211 Genesee St, Chittenango, NY 13037
La Cocina has absolutely massive (and delicious!) meals that are sure to fill you up. Chittenango is such a delightful little town that's great for a day trip in New York, so why not plan a visit and stop for lunch at La Cocina?

7. Mexicanzingo: 104 Windermere Ave, Greenwood Lake, NY 10925
Mexicanzingo's has such a fun name, and their food is just as enjoyable. The restaurant opened up in 2016 when the founders noticed a distinct lack of good Mexican food in the area.
