While Double Eagle is perfect for a night of fine dining, Peppers is a cafe that's home to affordable New Mexican dishes that are as delicious as can be. With either restaurant, you'll be dining in an atmosphere that is so charming.

This restaurant on the Mesilla Plaza is actually a National Registered Historical Building, and dates all the way back to 1849. Many events have happened in and around this building in Mesilla, like the arrest of notorious outlaw Billy the Kid in 1881.

Even the rooms are named after historic figures.
