With A Kids’ Menu And Gift Shop, This Incredible Restaurant In New Mexico Is Perfect For Families
Not all restaurants are family-friendly, so when we find one that is, we feel the need to share! As a parent myself, I often struggle to find a place that both my kids will enjoy, not just for the food but the atmosphere as well. One family-friendly restaurant in New Mexico that's worth trying is Del's Restaurant on Route 66. It's fun for the whole family!
If you're looking for a place to dine along Route 66 that's good for the whole family, you must make a stop at Del's Restaurant. With its iconic sign topped with a Hereford bull, you'll know you've arrived at the best family-friendly joint in town.
Located on Route 66 in the town of Tucumcari, this restaurant is certainly a throwback to the Mother Road's heyday. It also has a gift shop and some other aspects that will occupy the kids during your visit like...
...candy! Here you'll find an entire case of good ol'-fashioned candy. You and your kids will have fun picking out some nostalgic treats to take with you as you continue your Route 66 journey.
Del's also has its very own fortune telling machine. What will your future be?
When you sit down for a meal, your kids will be handed a kids' menu and a set of crayons to draw. They will be able to pick out kid-friendly items like beef tacos, grilled cheese, chicken strips, hamburgers, mac and cheese, etc.
Of course, there are some great dishes for adults as well. How about a steak with a baked potato for your meal?
What would any dinner in New Mexico be without a sopapilla? This is a must at any restaurant in the Land of Enchantment!
