You Can Drink Wine With Alpacas At Saddlehill Winery In New Jersey
There is no shortage of great places in New Jersey to sip some wine in a beautiful environment, but the newest winery in New Jersey has a little something extra. Saddlehill Winery, which just opened in early 2024 in a rural area of Voorhees Township, is located on a historic farm and has only recently opened its doors for tours and tastings. But this is also a working farm, complete with animals - including beautiful and majestic horses roaming the fields. But even more unexpectedly, you can meet a quartet of charming alpacas here! These adorable llama relatives are smaller and more playful than their cousins, and they make a unique backdrop to a wonderful afternoon of wine-tasting and dining on one of the most beautiful farms in New Jersey.
Saddlehill Winery might be new, but the farm it sits on has been around for over 250 years.
Today, the farm has opened as a tasting room, restaurant, and winery for visitors.
There are plenty of delicious vintages on offer here. You can enjoy them as a flight...
Or use them as the perfect companion to a meal at the on-site restaurant. The cuisine here trends towards modern American with an Italian accent.
The biggest attraction here might be what lies beyond the patio dining area. You might just see horses grazing in the field...
But the big highlight has to be the alpacas! These little guys have been seen on the Alpaca Cam on the website for a few years now, but they can also be seen in person!
