The German Pub In New Jersey Where You’ll Find All Sorts Of Authentic Eats
Rolf's Restaurant and Pub in Warren celebrates Oktoberfest year-round with German cuisine and live entertainment.
Oktoberfest comes but once a year... unless you're dining at Rolf's, that is. Located in Warren, this charming German pub and eatery celebrates Oktoberfest all year long, and it's a blast. The next time you're craving a good schnitzel, this is the place to be.
Rolf's Restaurant and Pub has been a staple in Warren for years, and not just in October.
Although rest assured, no one celebrates Oktoberfest (or practically any holiday) like this place does.
The interior is equally as charming as it is lively, reminiscent of a Bavarian pub.
You'll often hear live music or rich conversation as soon as you walk in (and sometimes both).
While Rolf's serves plenty of American fare, it also has a menu full of German classics.
But no matter what you're craving, you should always start with a pretzel.
From Käsespaetzle to schnitzel and perfect pork shank, you'll find a great variety of German cuisine here.
The Wurst (grilled weisswurst and bratwurst topped with gravy) is especially popular.
Friday night is prime rib night, where you can enjoy a hearty cut for $19 or $25 (the king-sized portion).
And it's even better than it looks.
While the food here is quite good, it's the live entertainment and the laid back ambiance that keeps people coming back.
Rolf's hosts live musicians every Friday and Saturday, plus an open mic night on Tuesday. Thursday is trivia night (at 8 p.m.), a great opportunity to test your knowledge.
Rolf-s Restaurant and Pub is open daily from 11:30 a.m. - 2 a.m.
Come for the schnitzel, stay for the entertainment (and the cocktails).
