Bordentown City is a small city in Central New Jersey with around 4,000 residents and a charming downtown. It may not be the biggest but it sure is fun to visit. We love local shops and restaurants including Randy Now's Man Cave (great live music), Broomstick Betty (crystals, clothing, and more), and Properly Fueled (healthy food). That's just the start but today isn't about Bordentown in general, it's about a specific event that you'll want to check out.
The Valentine's Day Chocolate Walk! Celebrate Valentine's Day early as this event takes place on February 7th.
You'll pick up a chocolate passport (online or during the event) for $5. Then, you'll stop for sweet treats as you take a lovely little stroll.
Stop at each participating business and enjoy a chocolate treat! There will be all sorts of goodies from cookies to brownies.
Get your passport stamped at each location for a chance to win fun prizes. This is a perfect activity to enjoy with a date, friends, or family.
You can take the tour at your own pace (between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.) but you can also enjoy an extra special treat...a Lovers Lane History Tour.
Bordentown Walking Tours created this event to coincide with the Chocolate Walk! It's a 30-minute tour with a 'love' theme. Several time slots are available. It's sure to pair perfectly with all your chocolate.
The Lovers Lane Tour will have additional dates. You can learn more about that by clicking here. For information and tickets to the Chocolate Walk, click here. Love and sugar are certainly in the air! Are you interested in checking this event out? Let us know in the comments.
