The New Hampshire Restaurant Known for Its Incredible Sunday Brunch Buffet
Head to the incredible Sunday brunch buffet at The Old Salt Restaurant in Hampton, New Hampshire, and you may never be hungry again!

I love discovering new places to eat, and there is nothing better than stumbling across a restaurant that combines two of my favorite things: a historic dining experience and a delicious all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch. Perhaps you are wondering where you can find such a place in New Hampshire. Well, the answer is the Old Salt Restaurant, a hidden gem located right in Hampton.
While most people visit Hampton for the beaches, music venue, or boardwalk, this local brunch is also worth the drive. The Old Salt Restaurant is housed in Lamie’s Inn, a gorgeous historic building dating back to 1740. While the family-owned restaurant is not nearly as old as the inn, a visit here is equally enjoyable.
Each Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Old Salt Restaurant puts on an enormous spread so incredible that it has won multiple awards, including several "Best Brunch in New Hampshire" titles. Be sure to bring your appetite because you don’t want to miss out on any of it!
As you make your way across the restaurant, you will find everything from traditional breakfast dishes like pancakes, breakfast meats, Eggs Benedict, and fruit, to more elaborate choices like the Corned Beef Hash Burger and the Crab Cake Benedict. Be sure to make a stop at the roast beef carving station, grab a made-to-order omelet, and fill your plate with some of the tasty pastries that overflow from the racks. And you definitely want to make room for dessert. The buffet features a huge chocolate fountain with lots of yummy stuff for dipping.
And what Sunday brunch wouldn’t be complete without a tasty Bloody Mary? Well, the Old Salt Restaurant’s morning cocktail is so good that it has actually won awards. Each “Red Tide” is made with two jumbo shrimp. I highly suggest trying one.
If you can’t make it to brunch, the restaurant is also a wonderful place to dine for lunch or dinner. The restaurant features tons of hearty dishes, pastas, seafood choices, and scrumptious desserts. The Old Salt also has a fantastic early-bird menu and offers special holiday meals.
For the ultimate experience, you can also book a weekend brunch package, which includes a Saturday night stay at Lamie's Inn and brunch for two guests at The Old Salt. Lamie's Inn has 32 Colonial Rooms available for cozy year-round stays.
