The term "middle of nowhere" is thrown about rather loosely, but this restaurant really can lay claim to that label. It's located in Venango, a village of 164 in Perkins County that's just a few steps from the Colorado border.

Chances are that unless you know it's there, you'd never stumble across it accidentally.

This itty-bitty village isn't on most people's radars - and that's ok. It's peaceful and has a comfortable hometown feel.

The Middle of Nowhere is one of two restaurants in town. You'll find typical bar & grill grub here, like burgers, pork tenderloins, all kinds of chicken, and classic side dishes like fries and macaroni salad.

The beer garden is a nice little outdoor space where patrons can enjoy the summer weather while sipping on some of the coldest beer around.

Live music is a big deal here, whether it's inside...

...or outdoors under the stars. People come from neighboring towns to see the shows and have some delicious home cooking.
