We're serious about our burgers here in the belly of beef country. When someone suggests going out for a burger, we don't pile in the car and head to McDonald's - we hunt down the best, juiciest, most mouth-wateringly perfect patty we can find. 1. Black Oak Grill, Omaha

Voted Best New Restaurant of 2013 in the Best of Omaha contest, Black Oak Grill at Midtown Crossing serves up unforgettable American comfort food.

2. Brewburgers, Omaha

From the standard (and amazing) cheeseburger to the slightly more adventurous lamb and bison burgers, Brewburgers knows how to do a burger right. As a bonus, they offer a beer pairing suggestion with every menu item.

3. The Cellar Bar and Grill, Kearney

The Cellar gets downright playful with its half-pound fire grilled steakburgers. Some of the more exotic burger selections are the crab rangoon burger and the peanut butter and jelly.
