The Tiny Shop In Montana That Serves Homemade Ice Cream To Die For
G’s Homemade Ice Cream in Eureka, Montana, offers delicious, homemade ice cream with rotating flavors and a charming atmosphere.
Eureka is a small town in northwestern Montana that doesn’t have much more to offer than its charms. Still, it’s a fun place to visit, especially during one of their festivals or events, like Rendezvous Days. But whatever it is that takes you to Eureka, make sure you don’t leave without stopping by G’s Homemade Ice Cream.
You’ll find G’s Homemade Ice Cream at 520 Dewey Avenue.
The owner, Gregg Caley, opened the stand in 2011 after deciding that Eureka needed its own ice cream shop.
Gregg uses his own recipes for the ice cream, some of which he creates on his own. He uses quality ingredients that are natural whenever possible—and yes, he takes flavor requests from customers.
The stand is surrounded by colorful picnic tables so you can enjoy your delicious ice cream right away.
There are usually at least 11 rotating flavors.
You can enjoy your ice cream in a cup or cone, or take a quart home. Actually, you may want to do both.
If the sign says "Yep," G’s Homemade Ice Cream is open.
If it says "Nope," it’s closed. Typically the stand is open from 11-8 Monday-Saturday.
