This place has been a Helena staple for over 25 years.

This particular bakery has been around since 1995, but the smell of freshly baked bread has wafted through the building much longer.

This is the site of the historic Eddy’s Bakery, a popular business with a huge brick oven that once cranked out 2,000 loaves a day (and sold them for a mere three cents a loaf). Eddy’s Bakery was a local icon in the 1930s.

This is Montana's premier European-style bakery, meaning you'll often see European treats on the shelves.

Current owners John and Renee Kowalski bought a new Italian steam deck oven after taking over the bakery in 2004 to ensure they could provide the community with the European-style goodies they have come to love.

While the freshly baked bread is definitely the most popular menu item, the desserts are out of this world.

They're made from scratch daily, and only the finest ingredients will do.

Their special occasion cakes include Earl Grey, Blue Raspberry, and Mudslide, just to name a few.

The bakery serves both breakfast and lunch, and the options are delicious.

Park Avenue Bakery is open Monday - Saturday from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
