From Tender Steaks To Inspired Appetizers, Montana Ale Works Delivers Farm To Fork Dining Done Right
We've seen a lot of restaurants open in Montana in the last decade, especially in Gallatin County. Bozeman's food scene is second to none, and it's not only the new eateries that are making a splash. In fact, our beloved Montana Ale Works paved the way for many with their farm-to-fork dining concepts and delicious casual but eclectic cuisine. If you have yet to enjoy a meal at this popular spot, stop by and support your local food purveyors.
Montana Ale Works is located on Main Street in Bozeman, where it has been since its opening in March of 2000.
The building was once a warehouse owned by the railroad. So even though it has only been a restaurant for two decades, it's seen a century of action.
These days, there's nothing warehouse-like about this place.
Whether you grab a seat at the bar, snag an indoor table, or enjoy your meal on the patio on a warm sunny day, you'll feel more like you're at a family table than anything.
As the name implies, the beer list here is pretty impressive.
There's also a long list of cocktails and wine for those who would prefer another way to imbibe.
But as fantastic as the drinks are, it's the food that keeps people coming back time and time again.
The menu here is extensive, ranging from classic burgers and steaks to slightly more adventurous fare.
Montana Ale Works partners with over 50 local farmers, ranchers, and artisans to get their ingredients.
Local products are used whenever possible, and you'll definitely taste the difference. They also work with artisan brewers and distillers from around the state to deliver the best local libations.
The classic comfort food here is second to none, but you'll also see things like salads and skewers on the menu.
They even offer nightly specials for both food and drinks.
Feeling adventurous? Try the Bison Potstickers.
They're exceptional.
Montana Ale Works is open daily from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. for happy hour and dinner.
When you dine here, you'll be supporting local Montana farmers, ranchers, and brewers. And it will be delicious.
