Bring the whole family and the pets, as long as they’re leashed, along with you when you visit Piney River Brewing Company, nestled on a 160-acre farm in Bucyrus.

The popular Missouri farm brewery offers a generous selection of handcrafted beers in a variety of flavors – from black walnut to Lizzie Twister blackberry – all sold in cans.

Piney River Brewing Company offers both year-round beers on tap as well as a slew of limited releases, such as German Road Oktoberfest Lager and It’s So Easy Watermelon and Basil.

While tours are available, make sure you also save time for a visit to the taproom. The BARn Taproom features both pints and sample trays.

You’ll need something to pair that beer with, and the BARn serves both soft pretzels and handmade pizzas, likely to be a hit with the little ones if you brought kids. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and picnics.

If you’re craving an old-fashioned country experience, book a stay at the Piney River Farmhouse, just down the road from the farm brewery.
