A tiny town in Panola and Quitman counties, Crenshaw is home to about 900 residents.

It’s also home to Billie’s Pecans, a specialty candy store that has fans all around the world.

The Crenshaw-born company sells flavored pecans, pecan-based treats, and other gourmet goodies. And it all happens in a 100-year-old building on Crenshaw’s Main Street.

Since opening in 1981, Billie’s Pecans has grown tremendously. Every year, the company ships about 8,000 pounds of pecan treats worldwide!

When Billie’s Pecans opened all those years ago, cinnamon spiced pecans were the first item offered. Today, the cinnamon spiced pecans are still a huge hit, but they’re not the only option.

In addition to cinnamon spiced, choose between a variety of chocolate covered pecans, such as milk, white, and dark chocolate and chocolate infused with Grand Marnier and Amaretto.

Traditional toasted pecans are also available – and that’s in addition to cheese crispies, which merge the flavors of sharp cheese and toasted pecans.

The sweet offering doesn’t end there, though. Billie’s Pecans also sells a variety of other goodies, such as pecan brittle and toffee.

Pecans are even added to coffee cakes, resulting in a delectable treat that can’t be beat.
