When it comes to a true old-fashioned dining experience, Boomer’s delivers! The eatery has been in business since the 1980s, but its age isn’t the only thing that contributes to its old-fashioned vibes. There’s also the classic fare of burgers and shakes along with the retro prices. Take a look:
In 1988, Horn Lake received a delicious addition – Boomer’s. Several decades have passed since the eatery first opened its doors, but its classic fare has withstood the test of time.
The food isn’t the only thing that’s remained a constant. There’s also the fact that the quaint and cozy eatery has been family owned and operated since day one.
Serving up quintessential drive-in grub, the menu boasts a tasty variety of fast food eats and sweets.
The old-fashioned burgers are among Boomer’s biggest sellers, which probably has something to do with the burgers being cooked to order.
Boomer’s also has a reputation for serving up some great sweets.
Diners rave about the shakes and malts, but that’s not all the sweet selection includes.
There are also cones, sundaes, banana splits, and other classic treats.
Local favorites, like the fried bologna sandwich, are on the menu too. Then there are signature creations, such as Totchos (nachos made with tater tots), that are sure to become new favorites.
But the old-fashioned prices are perhaps the most impressive thing about Boomer’s. One person can easily eat for well under $10 – and that includes a meal and dessert.
Dishing up old-fashioned food and prices to match, a visit to Boomer’s is sure to transport you back in time.
Boomer’s is open Monday – Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information, call (662) 393-4144. You can also visit Boomer’s Facebook page.
