The Blue and White Restaurant is a Tunica landmark, and just one of the many must visit sites you’ll find along the legendary Blues Highway.

It’s located at 1355 Highway 61 North.

Loaded with history, the restaurant opened in 1924 as a Pure Oil filling station and moved to its current location in 1937.

During its early days, the Blue and White was much more than a restaurant. It also included a tobacco and newsstand, Greyhound bus stop, and service station.

Though a lot has changed over the years, many things at the Blue and White have remained the same.

Talk about a blast from the past! The interior is delightfully retro, from the checkered floor to the vinyl seats.

Once inside, grab a seat and look over the menu, which includes everything from steaks and burgers to...

...traditional Southern dishes, which are prepared using family recipes that have been passed down for generations.

Hearty, Southern style breakfasts are served all day long.

And in addition to standards, like grits and biscuits, the early morning fare includes homemade donuts and cinnamon rolls.

With everything from pastas and sandwiches to local favorites, like fried catfish and fried green tomatoes, the lunch and dinner fare is just as mouthwatering.

Serving up great food along with true Southern hospitality, this iconic roadside restaurant is just too good to pass by!
