Kick Back In A Cozy Rooftop Nordic Village In Minnesota This Winter

This winter, you can enjoy a dining experience that's pretty darned unique in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. How is that, you may ask? Well, you can treat yourself - or better yet, get someone to treat you - to a four-course, prix fixe dinner inside a private cabin that is part of a rooftop Nordic village in Minnesota.

The Four Seasons Minneapolis Hotel opened to much acclaim in 2022.

In fact, we at OnlyInYourState quickly listed it among the best hotels in Minnesota, noting, in particular, its fabulous pool areas.

Riva Terrace, the brainchild of Executive Chef Martín Morelli, offers the hotel's signature outdoor dining experience with stunning views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline.

The covering of the pool and the closing of the windows, however, don't mean that rooftop dining is over for the season at Riva Terrace.

Au contraire! Or perhaps tvärtom! would be more apt, as between November 1 and March 31, Riva Terrace transforms into a Nordic Village.

Individual cabins can be reserved from Wednesdays through Sundays throughout the season.

This includes Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

Meals are prix fixe and include four courses.

Cocktails and other beverages are available as add-ons.

The menu includes nods to the Nordic, such as salmon gravlax, as well as the aprés ski, with an available cheese fondue course.

The cabins can accommodate from two to eight people, and prices for the experience begin at $165 per person.
