River Cinema has long been a mainstay in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, a community that lies across the Red River from Grand Forks, North Dakota.

But one twist that sets River Cinema apart from other movie multiplexes is its in-house restaurant: The Shire Bar and Grill.

Inspired by the Lord of the Rings but embracing all-things-movies, The Shire is a whimsical, cinema-themed restaurant that all film lovers should visit.

The eatery’s décor consists of memorabilia, posters, artifacts, and references to films of all kinds.
