Everyone knows that Minnesota gets cold during the winter. That means that all of the state's best outdoor patio dining areas close for months on end. Or do they? While the hardiest among us might consider dining al fresco when the temperature drops, most of us prefer to keep ourselves - and our plates - warm. Fortunately, one fantastic restaurant in Minnesota offers the best of both worlds in the most unique way: igloo dining! Ninetwentyfive in Wayzata, Minnesota, has a series of beautiful heated igloos that allow you to enjoy your meal in comfort, style, and in total privacy. You'll get to dine outside with a view while keeping warm - all while enjoying some truly incredible food. If that sounds good to you, read on to learn more.
Ninetwentyfive is a popular restaurant in Wayzata, Minnesota. It's a great place to go if you're looking for somewhere special to dine out for a special occasion or just for fun.
Inside, the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. It gets busy here, but there is plenty of seating, so you'll never have to wait too long for a table. There are even private and semi-private indoor dining spaces if you're looking to host a private event or an intimate dinner.
No matter where in the restaurant you end up, you're guaranteed a fantastic meal. The menu is full of delicious choices, including pasta, salads, seafood, burgers, steaks, and more. There's even a weekend brunch menu if you'd rather check it out earlier in the day.
But of course, we have to recommend snagging a spot in one of the outdoor igloos. There are currently four of these cute domes available, and each is as magical as the next... especially when the snow begins to accumulate.
Each one comes with its own unique theme, as well as a special menu. Reservations are limited, but are available throughout the day.
Of course, dining under the stars is certainly a little extra romantic, though!
One igloo is known as Woodinville in the Wilderness. Decked out in cozy buffalo plaid, it's a woodsy option with amazing food. The menu includes wild and rustic fare, such as smoked salmon pate, seabass sliders, a chop salad, a delicious steak board, and a butcher board that holds cheese, fruit, pickled veggies, and breads and crackers. The meal comes with a glass of wine and is finished off with a mini pumpkin brulée. Yum!
Winter Wonderland is full of elegance and romance. The menu includes fried deviled eggs, potato pierogis, venison tartare, goat cheese salad, and grilled lobster skewers. It comes with a glass of wine and tiramisu for dessert!
Veuve Cliquot in the Snow is as beautiful as the other igloos, with lovely twinkle lights that provide a little extra magic. Like the other igloos, your meal includes a glass of wine. Along with it comes a lobster tower sushi roll, bruschetta, a melon and prosciutto salad, lobster Newburg, a seafood platter, and spiced red wine poached pear for dessert.
The Bubble Room is the final choice. Like the other igloos, it includes comfy seating and magical string lights. The menu includes a fried goat cheese dish, tartines, garlic butter prawns, apricot pecan salad cups, crab-stuffed shrimp, and chocolate mousse for dessert.
Whether dining inside in luxury, al fresco during the warmer months, or cozied up in one of Ninetwentyfive's stunning igloos, it'll be a dining experience you won't forget.
Let's be real... dining in an igloo is definitely a bucket list-worthy experience, and igloo restaurants are pretty rare! But choosing between these beautiful igloos and delicious menus will be next to impossible! Fortunately, no matter which igloo you choose, you're going to have a delicious meal in a magical setting. This is a great way for friends or families to get together and do something special that you'll never forget!
