Clementine’s Restaurant is a locally-owned restaurant located in quaint downtown South Haven on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Clementine’s South Haven is inside the historic Citizen’s Bank building which was built in 1896.

There are still two of the bank’s original vaults used as storage and the restaurant is steeped in history, which we love.

The food, such as the Tugboat Annie, is excellent. It is a charbroiled black Angus eight-ounce sirloin smothered with crab, mushrooms, and mozzarella.

Order something crunchy from the sea, such as The James Gang.

Ten shrimp are lightly battered until they shimmer in a golden glow. The fries are also worth ordering.

Look for dessert specials, including this scrumptious coconut cake with a delectable layer of fruit.

These delicious surprises make for one of the best restaurants in Michigan.

Antiques and memorabilia from South Haven’s past are scattered throughout the eatery and have been lovingly curated over the years.
