You really can't have a list of anything food in Michigan without mentioning Zingerman's. And this breakfast list is not exception. You'll find lox, breakfast sammies and plenty of those deli fresh meats.
8) Brooklyn St. Local, Detroit
Diner food, with a fresh, organic twist. One of the pioneers in the genre in Detroit, for sure.
7) Crow's Nest, Kalamazoo
Fresh-baked breads locally-produced ingredients are the cornerstones of this popular K-Zoo spot. Be sure to try the Baker's Benedict which, in addition to the eggs and hollandaise, features fried leek and Gorgonzola.
6) Donckers, Marquette
This classic diner, soda fountain and candy shop is driven by an all-breakfast menu, made up of local ingredients. Sounds like a solid start.

This irreverent spot will give you a great mix of breakfast items, all with a rebellious attitude.
4) Krystal Jo's Diner, Flint
Hungry? Go for the "Ginormous Breakfast Platter," made up of three eggs, three pieces of bacon, three links of sausage, hash browns, two silver dollar pancakes
and toast.

Did someone say stuffed French toast? OMG, can't wait to get our hands on some caramelized bananas.
