What better way to dine than by experiencing a meal with a view? I just love sitting back with some good food and a yummy cocktail while I gaze out at the beautiful scenery in front of me. OIYS has already told you about several fantastic restaurants with gorgeous water views. But did you know that there is a fabulous restaurant in Boston that offers some amazing 360-degree city views? Get ready for great food and sites at the Beacon Bistro!
Beacon Bistro is located on the 52nd floor of Boston’s Prudential Center. It is part of the highly anticipated and recently opened View Boston observation experience. The Prudential Center is one of Boston’s best-known landmarks and is also one of the tallest buildings in the city. The View Boston experience offers visitors a unique way to see their favorite city sites from a whole new perspective. A visit to View Boston includes lots of immersive and hands-on experiences, such as films and 3D exhibits. And there is also some fantastic food at the attraction’s Beacon Bistro restaurant.
When you purchase tickets to View Boston, I suggest including a dining package that allows you to sample some of the food and drinks at the bistro. There are three different packages to choose from. Each includes a drink and an appetizer, salad, or sandwich.
If you want to experience the views while having a traditional dining experience, you can do that as well. The Beacon Bistro offers a full menu of delicious dishes. Why not start with an appetizer such as the baked stuff clams or goat cheese fritters followed by a yummy lobster roll, short ribs, or pan-seared salmon? The bistro also has delicious desserts and lots of great cocktails (both alcoholic and spirit-free). Tickets to View Boston are required for this dining experience.
And that’s not all! Beacon Bistro also hosts Sunday brunch, a chef’s tasting table, and a special package to celebrate special events and occasions. A proposal with a view, perhaps? View Boston additionally has a separate rooftop bar called Stratus where visitors can enjoy seasonal cocktails, appetizers, and desserts.
Have you visited the Beacon Bistro? What did you think of the views? More information about this unique panoramic experience can be found on the View Boston website and the View Boston Facebook page. You can also visit View Boston without taking part in the dining experience. Tickets are available via Viator.
While you are at the Prudential Center, be sure to stop by the Eataly European marketplace as well as embark on a fun and unique duck tour of the city.
