Dine For Less Than $10 A Person At This Iconic Hot Dog Stand In Massachusetts

There are so many wonderful restaurants in Massachusetts I would love to try. However, the cost of dining out tends to add up very quickly, so I try to limit my restaurant visits to a few times a month. Needless to say, I am always so excited when I discover an eatery that is not only delicious but also affordable. I recently told you about six classic Massachusetts hot dog stands. One of these icons, Nick's Hot Dogs in Fall River, has a menu full of delicious meals that will fill you up for under $10.

Nick’s Hot Dogs has been slinging great dogs for over a century. Since opening its doors in 1920, Nick’s has been feeding the citizens of Fall River as well as the many tourists who come to visit this iconic establishment.

The dogs have become so popular that the owners have opened two locations in Fall River, Nick’s and Nick’s Jr. The original Nick’s location is considered to be the oldest continuous Coney Island hot dog stand in the area.

The restaurant has even seen its share of famous patrons, including Bill Clinton, Jackie Gleason, and Lucille Ball.

The food at Nick’s is tasty and affordable. The restaurant makes a variety of fabulous franks which you can purchase for under $3. From the original hot dog to the bacon dog to the deep-fried dog, all are delicious.

Much of Nick’s success lies within its secret Coney Island sauce. The delicious recipe dates back to first-generation sauce makers. This special sauce is extremely difficult to replicate but has become in such high demand that it can now be purchased online.

The sauce is perfect for home BBQs or

But fantastic franks aren't the only food on Nick’s menu. The restaurants also serve burgers, sloppy joes, sandwiches, soup, cheese nachos, fries, onion rings, and even stuffed quahogs for under $5.

Their seafood and a few other menu items will run you a little bit more, but they are all well worth the price.

The iconic hot dog stand is also known for the "buy five get one free" hot dog deal. I personally can’t eat this many dogs, but I do know a few people who can!

Nick's also offers many other affordable special deals throughout the year.

Have you eaten at Nick's? What are some other delicious, affordable restaurants that you would recommend? You can find out more about Nick's at the Nick's Hot Dogs website and the Nick's Hot Dogs Facebook page. For more great franks, be sure to visit Hot Dog Annie’s in Leicester and George's Coney Island in Worcester.
