There’s nothing like biting into a firm, juicy hot dog. Casey’s Diner has been cooking up cult-favorite hot dogs for generations. This little spot in Natick has been making them longer than any other restaurant in Massachusetts, so you know the kitchen has its technique down.
Casey’s Diner has been serving up delicious hot dogs since 1890. That’s 130 years of happy customers!
The diner started life as a horse-drawn lunch cart in Worcester and was later relocated to Natick. The current building has been around since the 1920s.
Inside, you’ll find a cozy dining room that just oozes retro charm. Seating is a bit limited, so stop by early if you’re dining with a big party.
Casey’s is famous for its steamed hot dogs. They’re prepared fresh every day using old-fashioned methods. You can see them cooking right behind the counter.
The steaming locks in flavor and makes the hot dog extra tender. They’re a little paler than grilled dogs, but the flavor is intense!
And unlike many gourmet dogs these days, Casey’s dogs won’t cost you a fortune to enjoy. A classic frankfurter is just $3.25.
At Casey’s, they know a hot dog isn’t a hot dog without celery salt.
Hot dogs not your thing? Order up a classic cheeseburger or a slice of homemade pie instead. Pie flavors include custard, rhubarb pecan, apple, blueberry, and squash.
Casey’s is open for lunch and dinner between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. seven days a week. Breakfast is served Thursday through Monday from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
