Portland's working waterfront is one of the most vibrant places to be during the early morning hours. It's fun to watch as boats head back in after hours of fishing. But, there's another reason we love heading to this part of the city.

It also happens to be home to one of Portland's most beautiful seafood restaurants.

With floor-to-ceiling windows, this place is as airy and light-filled as can be.

It's a popular place for dinner, but we recommend you arrive on the earlier side for a full view of things.

The tables by the window are great, but there truly isn't a bad seat in the house.

The poured concrete features a well for ice and oysters, along with a handy place to discard your shells.
