When it comes to Maine seafood, there are lots of options. Up and down the coast you'll find tiny shacks and larger lobster pounds, all vying for the attention of lobster lovers and fish fanatics. There's a good chance that any of them will give you a good meal, but this one is a favorite. The outside might fool you - it's not big and fancy. But, the inside is exactly what you want when it comes to great seafood in Maine.

Known to many as just "The Catch," Fisherman's Catch has been a vital part of the Wells Harbor community for over 35 years.

If you're looking for a glitzy spot with fancy decor, you're going to want to keep driving.

Unless your definition of "fancy decor" is authentic, nautical pieces and exposed ceiling.

Slightly off-the-beaten path, you'll know Fisherman's Catch by the large fishing boat in the front.

Grab yourself a seat outside when the weather's nice and you'll have some pretty wonderful views.

While the scenic location is wonderful, it's the food that will remain etched in your memory.

The catch might be best known for their famous lobster pie, which takes all the work out of having to enjoy lobster. That leaves just the good stuff, no dismantling required.

"The Platter" comes with clams, shrimp, scallops and haddock as well as fries, coleslaw, and a dinner roll.

The Captain’s Feast is a fried seafood platter for two people to share...and you'll probably still have some to take home!

They also do perfect fried haddock meal.

Shrimp tacos are a great choice.

But, you can't possibly leave without a lobster roll.

You can eat in or take out, but we love the vibe here and recommend sticking around to enjoy your meal.

Fisherman's Catch is open May through October, so hurry to make a visit. They'll be closed after mid-October.
