Wicked Munchies in Ellsworth offers a variety of delicious comfort foods and desserts, making it a must-visit spot.
Is there anything better than a delicious dessert to satisfy a sweet tooth? What about the best comfort food to satisfy a growling stomach? We say there's nothing better than that and so we're always on the lookout for great places to find something scrumptious. There are plenty of places throughout the state to find them, but this one in Ellsworth is extra-special and we can't wait for our next trip!
Wicked Munchies in Ellsworth is your one-stop-shop for all the deliciousness you need in your life!
The shop, which has been around since 2020, is the passion project of local couple Travis Healey and Ana Petrova-Healey, though Travis has about 22 years of experience in food as a chef and manager.
The shop is the perfect spot for the best comfort food in the area. That includes both sweet and savory.
Loaded sandwiches covered in cheese are the perfect take-out option.
Friday is pizza day and their varieties are the best!
The ultimate fun food is an order of wings and yep, they've got that too!
Though they've also got some fantastic healthier options.
We particularly love the sweet side of things here! Like their famous peanut butter wanka cakes.
And cheesecake on a stick to enjoy on-the-go.
In addition to being super tasty, everything here is a work of art. Check out how brightly colored these cakes are!
As a take-out spot, everything here can be taken out. So, we recommend grabbing a milkshake (or four!) and loading up on whatever else you can manage to carry out with you.
Wicked Munchies is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can learn more about them by checking out their website or following them on Facebook. They can be reached on 207-412-0501.
The best local dessert is the whoopie pie and while there have been some questions, we believe it belongs right here! The whoopie pie's rightful home is Maine and here's why!
