Sitting pretty on the banks of the Tchefuncte River, Tchefuncte’s Restaurant offers a waterfront dining experience like no other.

It can be confusing when you pull into the parking lot. Anchor’s is the restaurant on the first floor. Both are wonderful options, Anchor’s is much more of a laid-back environment while Tchefuncte’s offers more of an elevated, fine-dining experience.

The views of the Tchefuncte River are just dazzling.

The balcony is perfect for an intimate evening, but we all know how hot Louisiana summers can be, so I wouldn’t blame you if you preferred to eat indoors.

The dining room offers waterfront views from just about every seat in the house.

You can also reserve the Captain’s Room for a private dining experience.

While there’s certainly no shortage of seafood options, Tchefuncte’s really shines in the steak department.

A variety of dry-aged and prime meats graze the menu at Tchefuncte’s, including Kansas City Strip, Porterhouse, and Hawaiian Ribeye.
