Named after the owners, Edward Piman and Yolanda Yoli, Pimanyoli’s is a neighborhood favorite for those in the Red Stick looking to feast on delicious BBQ.

From platters to massive sandwiches, Pimanyoli's offers several ways to get your BBQ fix.

Pictured above is the Brisket Sidewalker, which starts with a hearty portion of their famous smoked brisket, grilled onions, and mushrooms, then layered with Monterrey jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, brown mustard, and dill relish. Yum!

They may be known for their BBQ, but the real hidden gem on the menu are the hot tamales.

Served Wednesday through Saturday, these tamales have a cult-like following - and for good reason! The recipe dates back almost 100 years, and they only make 40 dozen at a time, so get there early if you want to try one of these popular items.

Pimanyoli’s is open for lunch six days a week.
