Many New Orleanians have fond memories of dining at Irene’s previous location on St. Philip Street. Last year, they moved to their new location on Bienville Street.

No matter where they move, Irene’s will always be a French Quarter staple when it comes to dining.

The Creole-Italian menu is a labor of love from owners and mother-son duo Irene DiPietro and Nicholas Scalco.

For appetizers, be sure to order some of their famous mussels meatballs marinara to start your meal off. For oyster lovers, you can’t go wrong with their signature appetizer, Oysters Irene.

Guests can expect to find authentic dishes like lasagna bolognese, lamb chops, and roasted duck on the menu.
