Diamond Grill is a seafood and steakhouse in downtown Alexandria.

Located near the Hotel Bentley and countless other Downtown Alexandria attractions, it’s the perfect restaurant to treat yourself to after a day of exploring.

The restaurant has been open since 2011, but the building is much older.

It was C.A. Schnack’s Jewelry Store from 1865-1931, which is why the restaurant earned the nickname “The Jewel Of Alexandria.” From the moment you walk in, you’ll feel like royalty. The restoration process was worth it—it’s one of the most beautiful restaurants in Louisiana.

It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to dine in a former jewelry store, so take your time here.

Diamond Grill offers a wide range of seafood and steaks that are cooked to order.

Personally, I'd recommend one of the steaks.

Marinated rib eyes, New York strips, filets… you can’t go wrong with any of them.

Of course, you don't have to choose between steak and seafood--you can get both!
