Nestled on the corner of Freret and and Jena Street in Uptown, The High Hat Cafe is a casual neighborhood restaurant that’s been a local favorite for years.

High Hat’s menu is a bend between New Orleans favorites and Delta comfort foods that's always a crowd pleaser.

The family restaurant is full of your favorite southern comfort foods like fried chicken, po’boys, slow roasted pork, and more.

Everyday you’ll find a new daily special that you’ll want to try. Some days are fairly predictable, like red beans and rice on Mondays, but other days you never know if it’s going to be their incredible BBQ tuna or a soul-satisfying bacon-wrapped meatloaf.
