When Susie and Darrell DeRouen opened the restaurant in 1985, they had no idea that it would become a timeless treasure beloved by locals.

The no-frills restaurant has a comfortable and casual atmosphere that will make you feel like you’re being welcomed by an old friend.

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu… but you really should pick a po’boy. There’s a good reason why they’ve become so popular!

Darrell’s has two locations; one at 19 West College St., Lake Charles, LA 70605 and the other at 1002 N. Lake Arthur Ave., Jennings, LA 70546. The Lake Charles location is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10p.m. and on Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m.. to 11 p.m.
