This Celebrity-Owned Restaurant and Bar Is One Of The Best Places To Grab A Bite To Eat In Louisiana
Saints and Sinners, a restaurant and bar on Bourbon Street, pays homage to New Orleans' historic Storyville district with a unique dining experience.
From 1897 to 1917, there was a designated area in New Orleans where prostitution was legal. The red-light district was originally known as “The District,” but quickly became known as Storyville, named after Sidney Story, a councilman who wrote the guidelines and legislation. The 38-block area (in present-day Treme) was bound by Iberville, Basin Street, St. Louis, and North Robertson, and though we have very few physical reminders of this stage in New Orleans’ history, you don’t have to travel very far to see many tributes to Storyville. There's one celebrity-owned eatery that might just be one of the best hidden gems in New Orleans, Louisiana, and it pays homage to Storyville in a very unique way. Let's check it out:
