This locally owned and operated eatery has been a neighborhood favorite since it opened all the way back in 1978.

It’s a family affair over at Anthony’s. Owners Anthony and Marie Saia and their two children, Marco and Margaret, operate the deli.

Not much has changed in the 40+ years it's been open.

Order at the counter and then find an open table. The walls read more like a time capsule, with little mementos peppering the space. See if you can find the original menu on display while you wait for your food.

Anthony's is known for having some insanely delicious po'boys, hot plates, and spaghetti.

But the muffulettas are truly something special.

Featuring both traditional and a vegetarian muffuletta, these iconic sandwiches are all about the olive salad.

And Anthony's olive mix is a family secret.

If a homestyle meal is more up your alley, no problem.

The spaghetti and meatballs will have you resisting the urge to lick the plate. Served with an Italian salad and bread, this is the perfect comfort meal.
