4 Lakeside Restaurants In Kansas You Simply Must Visit This Time Of Year

One of the best things about a warm weather day is enjoying a meal outdoors. Some love to picnic in a park, but others prefer meals spent by the water, either at a restaurant with an outdoor deck or simply windows from which you can dine and enjoy the view. We may not have any oceans in the Sunflower State, but that doesn't mean we don't have plenty of places to enjoy the water in Kansas... which, of course, means lots of waterfront restaurants to enjoy. Here are a few of our favorites:

1. Lovewell Grill and Marina

The Lovewell Grill and Marina is in Webber, KS right on Lovewell Reservoir. Whether you have your own boat or opt to rent one here, you'll have a wonderful time at this restaurant/marina. Live music and a friendly atmosphere make this a perfect place to enjoy a meal.

2. The Cove

The Cove is located at the amazing Acorns Resort in Milford. This is one of the top-rated resorts in Kansas. Nestled right along beautiful Milford Lake, the resort is an incredible place for a getaway, and the restaurant here is just as delicious as you'd expect.

The huge outdoor patio is great for socializing, and there are often events like karaoke, game nights, and cornhole on the schedule. 3. High Tide 21

Not only is High Tide 21 located right on beautiful Lake Perry, it's also got its own pool, making it one of our favorite summer restaurants in Kansas While the restaurant is suitable for all ages, the pool has a swim-up bar and is only available for those over the age of 21. Don't fret, though: there's a splash pad open for the kiddos!

The menu has a wide variety of seafood and American eats, with options for everyone. Events are held frequently, with tons of parties, concerts, and more. Learn more at the High Tide 21 website.

4. Lago Vista Grill

Last but not least on our list of waterfront restaurants in Kansas is Lago Vista Grill in Ozawkie. It's technically a few minutes' walk to reach Perry Lake, but the fun atmosphere you'd expect from a lakefront restaurant is definitely here.
