This Unassuming Restaurant In Kansas Has Some Of The Best Food You’ve Ever Tasted

Kansas is a long open stretch of land without an ocean anywhere near us. We're really at the center of a huge landmass, so we learn to live without an ocean and make do with lake fishing. However, there are a few restaurants in Kansas that serve the freshest fish available, and serve it well. There's something about this unassuming restaurant that makes it feel like a diamond in the rough. If you ask me, it's the food. Just take a look for yourself!

In the town of Abilene, you'll find more than your fair share of amazing things to do and see.

However, your exploration will most likely work up an appetite.

For that, stop by Three One One for some grub. It's an underrated restaurant that's often passed up by people that don't know what's inside.

They're nicknamed "The Key West of the Midwest" and you'll find that their Key Lime pie hits the spot perfectly.

Inside you'll find a friendly atmosphere, a bit of nautical and tropical design, and a wonderful smell you'll never forget.

Opened in 2012, they've been serving craft beer, fresh fish, and homemade potato chips that compliment any dish you choose.

Three One One is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
