Kansas isn't always a place where you can get fresh seafood if you like shrimp or salmon, but many of us have had crawdads or crawfish over the years since they can be caught locally. If you're a lover of a good crawfish boil or seafood in general, this new restaurant in Wichita is worth checking out next time you're in the neighborhood. Hope you're hungry!
Welcome to your new seafood home, Mama Nith's Crawfish. This seafood restaurant in Wichita, Kansas is something you'll smell from blocks away, but definitely in a good way.
Here at Mama Nith's, they've merged Cajun and Asian cuisine flavors and styles to create "Casian" food, a flavorful combination of two already amazing cuisines.
As you may have guessed, they make one mean crawfish boil.
You can get their fresh crawfish at $8.99 a pound, which is a great price for something so tasty. They also have larger priced family-sized meals meant to be shared around the table, if you'd like to make your visit extra special.
As seafood connoisseurs, other popular items include their crab, fried alligator, and plenty of fried sides to pair with the fish of your choice. They also fry up a good catfish, if you're in the mood.
We recommend that whatever you order, you get it with Mama Nith's house sauce, with either mild or hot spice level. There's just something about the sauce and seafood that makes you want to drink your plate after you're done.
Whether you're here for catfish, crawfish, or just the food in general, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Mama Nith's is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week.
Address: 604 Topeka, Wichita, KS 67202
