This Tiny Brewery In Indiana Was Just Named The Best In The Nation

Who says the best things don't come in small packages? Certainly not our local residents residing in Columbus!1,752 breweries participated in this year's Great American Beer Festival competition, with 256 beer industry professionals deciding who would come out on top. The unique competition features seven different categories, with each category awarding the top spot the honor of Champion Brewery. Just south of Indianapolis in the city of Columbus is ZwanzigZ Pizza and Brewing.

ZwanzigZ has a small but mighty onsite brewery, featuring state-of-the-art brewing equipment that's been operating since 2012.

Home to the coldest craft beer taps in town, the brewery has created over 70 different beers since opening.

ZwanzigZ took home the Champion Brewery title for the Best Small Brewpub category, and the win came as no surprise to local residents.

What started off as a one-room pizza shop in 2002 has now blossomed into something so much more, becoming one of the town's favorite landmarks.

Aside from the current 17 beers that they have on tap, the brewery also features four craft sodas. Their flavors? Root Beer, Orange Cream, Black Cherry and Blue Raspberry.
