The Syringa Cafe is part of the River Dance Lodge, situated on the banks of the Wild & Scenic Clearwater River, near the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area.
Basically, the backyard of this place is a 1.3 million acres of absolutely gorgeous wilderness.
If you're looking for remote, this definitely qualifies.
The lodge is 1.5 hours from Lewiston, and 5.5 from Boise. You're truly surrounded by nature here.
Owners Betsy Bowen and Peter Grubb renovated Syringa Cafe in 2004, as part of a larger plan to create a lodge.
The cafe is a cozy, friendly place to enjoy a meal with friends and loved ones.
Dine indoors, or on the patio.
This place is so warm and friendly, you'll never want to leave.
The staff here isn't your typical wait staff - they're part of the lodge. You'll find that everyone on the premises is super friendly and eager to make your experience amazing.
Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You're welcome to drop in for lunch, or you may make advanced reservations by calling 208-926-4300.
If you're staying overnight at the lodge, there's no need for reservations.
For lodge guests, dinner is served family-style from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you're just stopping by for a meal, reservations are highly recommended. Call 208-926-4300 so they can save you a seat!
The Syringa Cafe is open seven days a week during high season (April 29th to September 5th).
From September 6th to October 9th (when the lodge closes for the season), the cafe is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
