Cream Pot in Waikiki offers a whimsical and unique breakfast and brunch experience with French continental influences and Pacific flair.
From upscale seaside eateries to charming inland cafes, the Hawaiian Islands are home to some truly remarkable restaurants. There is one restaurant hiding in plain sight on the edge of Waikiki, however, that is a little bit different. Cream Pot is not only whimsical but serves some of the best breakfast and brunch fare in Honolulu. You won’t want to miss this place:
Located on the street level of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel at the corner of Niu Street and Ala Wai Boulevard, Cream Pot is certainly off the beaten path, at least as far as Waikiki is concerned.
The restaurant is recognized by the white garden arbor trellis found outside, as well as the positively charming patio.
Upon entering the restaurant, you will feel as though you’ve stepped into a charming rustic kitchen found in the French countryside. French influences are found in everything from the decor to the food, and let’s just say, it’s truly unique.
Some call the frilly and feminine, others call it charming and cozy. I guess it all depends on your style. Either way, this little eatery is unlike any you’ll find across the Hawaiian Islands.
Utilizing quality ingredients sourced from around the world — from Maui strawberries to cacao imported from France — the menu is full of breakfast favorites with French continental influences and an Pacific flare.
If you’re looking for something sweet, their crepes, French toast, and Belgian waffles are all as decadent as they are gorgeously plated.
If savory is more your thing, they also serve up mouthwatering rolled omelets, three varieties of eggs benedict and baked egg dishes. Yumm!
Grab a coffee or espresso drink to complement your breakfast, and you’re sure to feel right at home here.
It doesn’t get more whimsical than this — at least not in Waikiki, that is.
