You can find almost any type of cuisine here, from just desserts to delicious dumplings, fresh crawfish to tacos al pastor. Here are a few of our favorite spots to eat along the famed Buford Highway.
1. Lee’s Bakery - 4005 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30345
Here's the thing about Lee's Bakery...it is inexpensive, it is Vietnamese, and it has been dubbed THE place to get banh mi sandwiches in America by the New York Times. So, it's only fitting that this hot spot tops the list.
2. El Rey del Taco - 5288 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30340
These are authentic tacos at its finest. You know they are authentic because of the types of tacos you can order, not to mention the person in the back who is making the tortillas AS ORDERED. A true taco experience that you've been waiting for.
3. Sweet Hut Bakery- 5150 Buford Hwy, Ste A-100, Doraville, GA 30340
If you're ever cruising down Buford Highway and have a hankering for something sweet, you need to stop by Sweet Hut. This bakery has everything you could possibly want and more.
4. Northern China Eatery - 5141 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30340
Rumor has it that Northern China Eatery is THE place to get dumplings. If you've ever had these pillowy, chewy, scrumptious tasty treats, then you need to visit this spot. Did we also mention that Sweet Hut was right across the street? Because that's just kismet if you ask us.
5. Havana Sandwich Shop - 2905 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
There aren't too many places where you can get true authentic Cuban food in Georgia, which is why Havana Sandwich Shop is so darn valuable. Snag yourself a Cuban sandwich with all the fixings, and don't forget that side of rice and beans.
6. Purnima Bangladeshi Cuisine - 4646 Buford Hwy NE Atlanta, GA 30341
You'll be pretty hard pressed to find authentic Indian food as delicious and inexpensive as what you'll find at Purnima Bangaladeshi Cuisine. If you head down Buford during lunch hour, make sure you stop in for the incredible lunch buffet.
7. Pho Dai Loi 2 - 4186 Buford Hwy NE, Ste G, Atlanta, GA 30345
People flock from all over to slurp up the deliciousness that is authentic Pho. This soupy goodness is so rich and flavorful, you'll certainly be back to try all the types and variety that this place creates.
8. Crawfish Shack Seafood - 4337 Buford Hwy NE #170, Atlanta, GA 30341
Fresh crawfish, anyone? One of the most coveted spots along Buford Highway is none other than Crawfish Shack Seafood. Serving up a pound of crawfish, hush puppies, cajun fries and some corn for less than $10. You can't beat that.
9. C'om Vietnamese Grill Restaurant - 4005 Buford Hwy NE, Ste E, Atlanta, GA 30345
Flavorful food with a variety you could only dream about. If you find yourself in need of a stir-fry fix STAT, then this is your go-to place on Buford Highway.

This is the type of place along Buford Highway that you will want to bring your appetite for. With an extensive food menu, not to mention an incredible sake selection, too, if you are a sushi lover, or simply a lover of fresh food, then this is your jam.
11. La Pastrocita - 3304 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
If you are looking for some of the best al pastor tacos that you have ever tried, then La Pastrocita is your place. Order up a few of these spicy pork tacos, kick back with a cold beer, and make your day complete.
12. International Cafe - 3066 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
Rumor has it, International Cafe is the spot on Buford Highway to sink your teeth into some scrumptious chicken wings. Teriyaki, spicy, BBQ —you name it, they have it. Since they've been on Buford since the early 1980s, it's only right that they have perfected the art of wing making.
